Terms

Last updated 9 August 2026

These are the rules for using moonmars.com. They are short because the site is simple: it is a museum, a moon calendar and a place to leave your e-mail address.

Who we are

moonmars.com is run by MoonMars B.V., registered in the Netherlands under KvK number 84981369. You can reach us at hello@moonmars.com.

What this site is

MoonMars shows artworks that have travelled to the Moon, tracks the missions carrying them, and tells you what the Moon is doing tonight. You can browse all of it without an account.

An account adds a profile, your zodiac sign and the stickers you have unlocked. That is the whole of it — there is nothing to buy here.

Your account

The artworks

The works shown in the museum belong to the artists who made them. Showing them here is not permission to copy, sell, reproduce or train on them. Look, share a link, tell people about it — but the works are not yours or ours to give away.

Everything else on the site — the name, the logo, the writing, the design — belongs to MoonMars.

E-mail lists

If you join the open call, the deck list or the newsletter, we will e-mail you about that thing and nothing else. Every message has a way out, and hello@moonmars.com always works. What we store is in the privacy policy.

moonmars.io is a different site. The wallet, the mint and anything to do with buying a piece of the Moon happen at moonmars.io, which is run separately under its own terms. Nothing on this page applies there, and nothing here is an offer to sell you anything. If a link takes you there, you are leaving this site — check the address bar.

What we promise, and what we don't

We keep this site up and accurate as best we can. We cannot promise it will never be down, never be wrong, or never change. Moon times, mission dates and artwork details are given in good faith and are not something to plan a launch around.

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that follows from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited — and in the Netherlands, several cannot.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. If a change genuinely matters to people with accounts, we will say so rather than hope nobody notices.

Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes go to the courts of the Netherlands, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a case closer to home.
